Gianni Morra is the founder of modulosigma.

He has a Degree in Physics. His professional career was almost entirely developed at Fiat Research Centre (CRF) after an initial period within a medium manufacturing enterprise as Production Planning Engineer and afterwards at Fiat Auto as Reliability Engineer.

At CRF he acquired and developed advanced competencies especially in the fields of Statistics and System Modeling applied to projects for Fiat Group (Fiat Auto, Chrysler, FPT, IVECO, CNH, Ferrari, Marelli, Teksid, Comau) and for external customers and in several public funded national and european projects cooperating with outstanding italian and international universities.

He was Director of “Business Information Technologies” (annual turnover: 6 million euros, headcount: 50 people) with the objective of developing methodologies and ICT solutions for improving the enterprise processes in terms of Customer Satisfaction and Value Creation.

He was Director of "Quality and Relations" and during the integration of CRF and Elasis (planned by the new top-management of Fiat) he worked in tight cooperation with the CRF CEO in organizing and re-engineering the processes of the merger, in defining the R&D vision and strategy, in developing relations with Universities, Research Centers and Institutions and in implementing the Quality Management (ISO 9001 and ISO 17025) and the Enterprise Risk Management Systems.

He was Contract Professor of Project Management at the Master in Automotive Engineering (Politecnico of Turin) and he had other teaching experiences at the Course of Management of Innovation for PhD’s (Unione Industriale of Turin) and at the Master in Management, Innovation and Service Engineering (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa)

He is the author of several technical publications in the fields of Applied Statistics and he was invited speaker at important international conferences on Innovation Management.
